About 

 

Pokemon Soul Crystal is an update patch for the original game. It was born with the idea of creating a friendlier, more modern and balanced Pokémon Crystal while maintaining the essence of the second generation. Among the many problems that the game had, we could find that only a tiny handful of Pokémon clearly predominated over the others. The fire type attacks were purely special category, the bug type attacks were mediocre as well as the flying ones. Movepools were also problematic. A Magneton could only use electric attacks effectively and some normal attacks very ineffectively. Most Pokémon lacked a specific stab to help them and this was also solved in the mod. Now it is possible to complete our blessed pokédex!
